The standard input tray of the device can hold up to 250 sheets of full paper for printing while the additional slot through the manual feed can hold only one layer at a time. The printer output tray can hold up to 100 sheets of paper in a face-down position with a standard weight of 80 gsm while only one of the layers will be in a face-up position. The print resolution of this unique device is up to 2400 x 600 dots per inch (dpi) at a high-quality output of HQ1200, but the standard resolution is 600 x 600 dpi.
The printer also has the automatic duplex printing feature that enables it to print on both sides of the paper by itself. Connecting to this device requires a USB cable that is not longer than 2 meters through the standard hi-speed USB 2.0 port on the body of the printer.
This printer has a standard toner that is capable of printing approximately 1200 pages following the ISO/IEC standards. Also, there is also a high capacity toner that is available, which can produce up to 2600 pages of printed paper by the ISO/IEC standards. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
