The primary connectivity option of the printer is through the standard hi-speed USB 2.0 port using a manufacturer’s cable that is not longer than 6 feet. The internal memory of the printer is up to 32 MB of RAM, and this allows the device to produce impressive quality at high speed.

The printing mode works at a resolution of up to 1200 x 600 dots per inch (dpi) while printing on a letter-sized paper. Likewise, the minimum ink droplet size is four picolitre for black printing and 1.5 picolitres for cyan, magenta and yellow colors. The maximum printer width is 8.5 inches for borderless printing.

The copying features works at a maximum resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi for both monochrome and color printing. Likewise, the enlargement range can take the output to a size of 4005 of the original while the reduction can shrink to 25% of the original size. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer

Windows

• Close all software programs running on your computer.
• Turn on the printer.
• Click the Download button on this page.
• Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
• Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.

Mac

• Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
• Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
• Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
• Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.

To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
