The Brother MFC-7340 model among the Brother printer series is a multifunctioning device that can print, copy, scan, and fax. The printer measures a height of 304 mm, a depth of 396 mm and a width of 428 mm while the weight is 10 kg. The printer has an input paper tray capacity of up to 250 sheets of 20 lbs paperweight. Similarly, it also uses an automatic document feeder (ADF) that supplies an additional 35 sheets of paper of the same weight for input load. Also, the relative humidity should be between the range of 20 and 80% without condensation during operations.

The modem speed of the printer during faxing is about 14400 bps while the transmission speed is approximately 6 seconds. The coding system supports MH, MMR, MR formats, and a color depth os 256-levels for color and 8-bit for monochrome. The delayed timer features up to 50 timers and maximum broadcasting spread across 258 locations.

The maximum page memory is up to 400 pages both for ITU-T chart and standard resolution. The one-touch dialing cover 8 locations and speed dialing of a maximum of 200 places. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer

Windows

• Close all software programs running on your computer.
• Turn on the printer.
• Click the Download button on this page.
• Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
• Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.

Mac

• Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
• Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
• Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
• Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.

To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
