The printer can store up to 256 MB of internal memory while the standard input tray can hold up to 250 sheets of plain paper. The paper input mechanism through the automatic document feeder (ADF) also holds up to 35 sheets of paper. The output tray of the device can hold up to 150 sheets of plain paper face down, and one sheet faces up.

The display feature is of an LCD type made of 22 characters and five lines and the screen measures a width of 2.76 inches and a length of 1.06 inches. The standard tray supports quite several media types such as plain paper, thin paper, and recycled paper of maximum standard weight of 28 lbs.

The modem speed is about 33,600 bps with a Super G3 ITU-T Group, and the color depth of the printer is 256 levels of 8-bit color depth.

The printer can transmit up to 500 pages of a document to more than 366 locations while it supports duplex fax sending. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer

Windows

• Close all software programs running on your computer.
• Turn on the printer.
• Click the Download button on this page.
• Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
• Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.

Mac

• Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
• Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
• Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
• Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.

To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
