The Brother MW-100 printer is with a special indicator light that emits distinct colors to show specific conditions of the printer. For instance, there are three colors, green, red and orange. The device is a mobile portable printer with impressive print quality and resolution. The printing method is a direct thermal printing with an installed line thermal print head that produces a resolution of up to 300 x 300 dpi. More so, the printer works best on a Brother A7 cut paper of 74 mm x 105 mm in size.
The printer works at a rate of 15 seconds per sheet on the average but regarding the standard text on a thermal paper. However, the coverage of the print is at an ambient temperature of 250C for optimum performance of the device.
Regarding paper supply into the device, the machine is capable of a compatible Brother paper cassette. This cassette works with an automatic paper feed mechanism for the A7 cut paper. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
