Printing with this device is through the direct thermal print technology for optimal performance of the invention. The maximum print height of the machine is about 59.0 mm or 2.3 inches approximately. The speed of the printer works is about 90 mm per second for 50 standard address labels per minute. Regarding resolution, the printer produces 300 x 300 dots per inch (dpi).
The power usage of this single printer is between 220 to 240 Volts of an AC input at a frequency of 50/60Hz and a current of 0.9A. The physical dimensions include 146 mm of width, a height of 152 mm and a depth of 196 mm. The physical weight of the device is about 1.3 Kg without the DK roll. The printer uses a full manual cutter with replaceable users in both QL-500 and QL-500A models. Also, there is also a cutter sensor that recognizes where the cutter should cut. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
