They were printing with this device in black and white runs at the rate of 8.0 images per minute (ipm). On the other hand, color printing runs at a speed of 4.0 ipm. Also, the two-sided or duplex printing runs by manual operation. While using the standard ink cartridges, the compatible types include the PG-445 for pigment black and CL-446 for color printing. However, the optional cartridge types are the PG-445XL for pigment black and CL-446XL for color printing.
The only means of connectivity for this machine is the hi-speed USB 2.0 port but without the wireless option. In terms of physical features, the machine has a height of 134mm, depth of 235mm, and a width of 426mm. Besides, the weight of the device is about 2.3 kg, which is ideal for its use. Power source variation is between 100 and 240 volts for 50/60 Hz frequency. Similarly, the power consumption is dependent on the printer mode per time.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.

- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
