Canon PIXMA MG5660 belongs to the Canon PIXMA MG5600 printer series of multifunctional printers. This machine can carry out wireless printing, scanning, copying, and cloud link being an all-in-one printer. Simultaneously, the device can produce a maximum print resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi). The compatible ink cartridge contains the Chromalife100+ inks. In contrast, monochrome or black and white printing has a rate of approximately 12.2 images per minute (ipm). On the other hand, color printing has an approximate speed of 8.7 ipm under normal circumstances. At the same time, photo printing at the borderless mode has an approximate rate of 44 seconds. Whereas, this borderless printing supports A4, letter, and photo sizes.
The Canon PIXMA MG5660 model also works with automatic duplex printing for both sides of the page. Besides, this model is compatible with A4 and letter sizes of plain papers. The machine has up to five individual ink tanks, one each for pigment black, black, cyan, yellow, and magenta documents. The ink cartridge types have varying capacities of print, while XL cartridges can print more. Supported media sizes include A4, A5, photo sizes, envelopes, letters, and legal papers.
On the other hand, the compatible media types include plain paper, Canon Pro Platinum, and the Canon pro luster. Others include Canon “everyday use,” Canon Matte, Canon t-shirt transfer, Canon high-resolution paper. The maximum paper input load through the front tray is up to 100 sheets of plain paper. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
