Specifications
Monochrome printing produces continuous printing at a rate of 9.7 images per minute (ipm). On the other hand, color printing runs at a speed of 5.5 ipm for optimum performance. Similarly, borderless printing on an A4, letter, or photo paper is also possible for automatic duplex printing. Some other features of this machine model include normal size prating, fit-to-page, scaled print, and multiple pages per sheet print.
The standard ink cartridges are the Pigment Black PG-540 and color CL-541 models apart from the high yield versions. Also, the pigment black cartridge model can produce 180 pages, while the high yield version will print 600 pages. Standard cartridge for color pages will print 180 pages while the high yield model version will print up to 400 pages. However, the rates for photo printing vary from these values due to the optimized photo attributes.
Canon PIXMA MX525 printer model supports the use of envelopes, photo paper pro platinum, and the photo paper plus glossy. Other media types are t-shirt transfer, photo stickers, glossy photo paper, high-resolution paper, and photo paper pro luster. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.

Mac
