Some ink tanks are compatible with this printer model. Some of these models include the PGI-270 for pigment black and CLI-271 for black, cyan, magenta, and yellow colors. Each of these cartridges has different volumes of ink and, as a result, various print capacities. Similarly, the compatible standard paper sizes include photo sizes, letter, legal, envelopes, legal, and letter sizes.
On the other hand, compatible paper types include super high gloss, plain paper, and photo paper pro platinum. The others include high-resolution canon paper, matte photo paper, photo paper pro luster, and photo paper plus glossy II. Some of the notable printer features include auto duplex printing, original document detector, red-eye correction, special filters, and square media printing. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.

Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
