This machine has a single main tray that can hold up to 100 sheets of plain paper. And the variety of standard sizes are applicable, such as A4, A5, B5, and letter. Legal sized documents can reach ten different sheets in the machine. The plain paper can accommodate a range between 64 and 105 gsm in terms of the supported weight. But for Canon specialty paper can reach a maximum weight of 300 gsm under ideal circumstances.
It can also permit a frequency band of 2.4 GHz while it also contains 13 channels. Besides, the wireless LAN range is about 50 m while the machine is indoor. But in terms of wireless LAN security includes WEP64/128bit, WPA-PSK (TKIP/AES), and WPA2-PSK (TKIP/AES). The scanning type appliance will use the flatbed component with a resolution of 2400 x 4800 dpi. But the speed of this mode is about 14 seconds on the average. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.

Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
