Using the Epson ET-4550 printer model, the functioning printing method is the thermal print-on-demand inkjet technology with the piezoelectric feature. It also comprises a nozzle configuration that includes 400 nozzles for the black document and 128 nozzles for each of the other colors. The compatible colors include cyan, yellow, and magenta, with each having the capacity to produce high-quality documents. The printer package contents include an Expression ET-4550 EcoTank machine, an instruction manual, and a power cord. The other items may consist of the CD-ROM and the initial ink bottles. In effect, the Epson ET-4550 printer model can also produce an optimum print resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi with variable-sized droplet technology. In terms of the print speed, black documents can print on A4 paper at the rate of 13.7 ISO pages per minute (ppm).
However, color document printing has a rate of 7.3 ppm under similar conditions. In terms of the paper feeding method, the Epson ET-4550 printer model has a friction feed with a paper feeder and an automatic document feeder. Its main tray can load up to 150 sheets of plain A4 paper with an average weight of 80 gsm. Also, it supports the use of envelope papers of about 20 sheets per time. The device can also work with automatic double-sided printing.
The device’s scanner uses an A4 flatbed color image scanner and supports up to A4 size as a multifunction printer. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
