Printing with this device can produce the first page of 7 seconds for both monochrome and color production. The print rate is about 20 pages per minute for both color and monochrome documents. Duplex or double-sided printing has a print rate of 11 A4 pages per minute (ppm). Moreover, the normal mode’s print rate is 34 ppm for monochrome documents and 30 ppm for color pages.
The maximum print quality level is up to 4800 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi) at the optimized level. The optimum printing volume is up to 35,000 pages per month at the best performance level. This machine’s network printing protocols include LPR, FTP, LDP, IPP, Port 9100, WSD, TCP/IPv4, TCP/IPv6, and IPSec. The options include t a hi-speed USB 2.0 port and an ethernet interface with 1000/100/10 Base-T/TX in terms of the compatible interfaces.
Other connectivity options may include Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11b/g/n, WI-Fi direct connection, Gigabit Ethernet interface, and wired network. Moreover, the machine is compatible with standard paper sizes such as the A4, A5, A6, B5, C4, C6, letter, legal, and photo paper sizes. The compatible paperweight ranges between 64 and 256 gsm. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
