Print Speed of the device for a black draft is 23 pages per minute (ppm) while for color prints, the speed is 20 ppm. In the normal mode for black print, the speed is 7.5 ppm while it is 7 ppm for color prints.
This Business printer has a high quality of up to 4800 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi), coupled with an automatic paper duplex unit which enables the printer to print on both sides of the media. The total monthly duty cycle of the device is 6250 pages per month.
Connectivity
The HP Business Inkjet 1100dtn printer uses standard connectivity through the Hi-speed USB port and in addition to that, a robust network solution through the internet. Characteristic of this is the Jetdirect 200 network card. The dedicated USB port located at the rear of the printer where the cable can be plugged in and out anytime for printing and afterward.

The recommended properties, however, is a RAM size of 128 MB.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
