The printing speed of HP Deskjet D1560 is up to 0.8 ppm for black and up to 0.9 ppm for color. The print quality of the device is up to 1200 dpi for black. And for color, the quality is 4800×1200 dpi.

The minimum system requirements are Windows XP OR 2000 with a 233MHz processor or higher. The recommended RAM space is more than 256 MB. 128 MB is also suitable for the system.
The support for Mac is Apple MacOS X 10.5 or later. The processor requirement for Mac is G3, G4, G5, or Intel core processor. The minimum RAM is 256 MB but recommended is 512MB. Free disk space must be more than 200 MB. The browser requirement is not specified and hence supports all. The internal memory is 384k. The connectivity is via USB port.
The device has an external power source. The minimum input voltage is 100 to 240 VAC with 50-60 Hz frequency. The power consumed by the printer during operations is 16 watts. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
