HP ENVY 5000 driver

The HP ENVY 5000 represents a family of HP printers that has unique designs for printing, copying, and scanning documents. These printers can run up to a speed of 10 pages per minute (ppm) according to the ISO standards. Moreover, when printing in the draft mode, the rate can be up to 20 ppm. Similarly, the standard way when printing color documents can be up to 7 ppm, and the first page takes 16 seconds. The monthly duty cycle of this printer model is up to 1000 pages, but the manufacturer recommends 100 to 400 pages.

Specifications

The print technology of this printer machine is the HP thermal inkjet method while the compatible printer driver is PCL3 GUI. The printer also supports the use of instant ink cartridges that comprises of HP 304 and HP 304XL model cartridges. The black ink cartridge prints up to 120 pages while the color cartridge can print up to 100 pages. The HP 304XL is a high yield cartridge model where the black and color cartridges print 300 pages each. The printer is also compatible with wireless connectivity through the WiFi 802.11 b/g/n dual-band component.

Apart from the wireless connectivity, the printer can also connect through the USB 2.0 hi-speed port. The machine is also compatible with the use of various operating system versions, including Windows, and Mac OS. The device also supports direct wireless feature and mobile printing solutions for immediate printing. The mobile printing solutions include HP ePrint, Apple AirPrint, Mopria certification, and other solutions. The HP ENVY 5000 printer has an internal memory of 256 MB of DDR3L internal capacity.

The compatible media types for this machine include plain, HP photo papers, HP matte brochure, or professional papers. Others include HP glossy brochure, light or recycled papers. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer

Windows

• Close all software programs running on your computer.
• Turn on the printer.
• Click the Download button on this page.
• Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
• Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.

Mac

• Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
• Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
• Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
• Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.

To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
