The printer connects through one USB hi-speed client and port, a WiFi 802.11b/g/n connector and another dual-band WiFi. The latter component runs at a speed of 2.4/5 GHz and includes BLE, and an SD memory card slot. This machine can produce 50 copies of an original document at once at a rate of 21 copies per minute (CPM). It also provides a resolution of 300 x 300 dots per inch (dpi), on the average for both monochrome and color copies.
The standard memory through the DDR3 component has a capacity of 256 MB in a secure digital format. Furthermore, this printer supports mobile printing solutions such as HP ePrint, Google Cloud Print, Apple AirPrint with Mopria certification. The printer also allows for wireless direct printing incompatibility with IPv4, bonjour, DNS, and IPv6 basic network protocols. The other supported protocols include the embedded web server, wireless network support, SLP, WS-print and WEP/WPA (AES) structures.
This model of printer can handle up to 125 sheets of plain paper as well as 40 cards or even five envelopes. The standard input capacity for transparencies is 40 sheets and for the second tray is 15. The output tray, however, can only accommodate 25 sheets of plain paper. Apart from this, the printer also supports the use of HP photo paper, and HP matte brochure or professional writing. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
