The operating systems that support the printer from the Windows and Macintosh include all the latest versions. For the Windows operating system version Windows XP, Vista, 7 require only 200 MB of free disk space. The latest Windows version 8 and 10 need higher upgrades of the processor and RAM. In Macintosh, the users can run the printer on MAC OS X 10.6 and 10.7 smoothly. Among the latest Mac OS, version 10.14 is also compatible with it.
The first page will print within 10.5 seconds, and after that, the printing speed increases to 31 ppm for colored and mono documents. The best resolution setting will give the print quality of 1200×1200 dots per inch.
After scanning the document, it can be sent directly to the email address of the recipient, to internet fax, to LAN fax. The maximum scan size is 8.5 x 14 inches. The copy speed is similar to the print speed of 31 ppm, and it has an automatic duplexing ability. Moreover, the maximum number of copies that it can handle is up to 9999 copies.
The ADF capacity is 100 sheets, the input tray has a 250 sheet capacity, and the multipurpose tray can hole up to 100 sheets. There is an optional third tray that has 500 sheet capacity. The output tray also has a capacity of 250 sheets, 10 envelopes, and 100 multipurpose sheets. For external connectivity, there are 2 USB ports, and it has ePrint technology for wireless printing.

[Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
