The monthly duty cycle of HP LaserJet Enterprise M606x printer is at sky high of 275000 pages, but HP recommends a range of 5000 to 20000. With a Laser technology, the print cartridge consists only of black replaceable with HP 81A Black Orginal Laserjet Toner Cartridge. This particular cartridge has a model number CF281A is capable of ding up to 10500 printed pages. The other option is the HP 81X High Yield Black Original Laserjet Toner Cartridge with a model number CF281X. Moreover, the capacity of this cartridge is 25000 printed pages.
The standard connectivity options include the hi-speed USB 2.0 ports, a built-in Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000T network port. The compatibility options include Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1 and Windows 10. Others are Mac OS X v10.7 Lion, v10.8 Mountain Lion, v10.9 Mavericks, v10.10 Yosemite.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
