The physical dimension of the printer is 379 mm (14.9 inches) width, 245 mm (9.6 inches) depth. Others include 225 mm (8.9 inches Height) with 5.9kg (13lbs) with the installed cartridge. The paper tray capacity comprises 250 sheets of standard weight of 75 g/m2 (main Input tray capacity). Also, ten sheets of paper up to 163 g/m2 priority feed slot capacity. The recommended types and sizes of the paper are, letter, legal, executive, A4, A5, A6 B5 (JIS), Envelope #10. The printer resolution setting provides 600 x 600 dpi output with resolution enhancement technology. This feature also provides 1200 dpi effective output quality. And in Economode, it prints using less toner and this setting is useful when printing drafts are turning this print quality setting.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.

To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
