This printer connects by either the hi-speed USB 2.0 port or Ethernet 10/100Base-TX, a phone line-in and out. Copying allows users to choose the contrast level of the output, whether to be darker or lighter. Also, it can enable adjustment of several copies, multipage selection, and optimization. It produces up to 99 prints from a single original document and runs at a speed of 30 CPM. The copy resolution of the machine is up to 600 x 600 dpi while the zoom range is between 25 and 400%.
The device supports faxing through several attractive features. These features include a fax address book, a speed dial mode, fax billing codes, fax archiving and forwarding and blockage. It runs at a modem speed of 33.6 kbps while the transmission speed is 3 seconds per page on the average. The faxing resolution is up to 300×300 dots per inch(dpi) with enabled halftone and a fax memory reaching 1000 pages. Users can also enjoy the telephone handset and fax telephone mode support.
There is an internal memory standard of 256 MB of RAM in this printer. However, mobile printing services supports HP ePrint, Apple AirPrint, and Google Cloud Print. At the same time, the networking protocols for printer formatting include TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, IP direct mode, SLP, and LPD. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
