The output tray, however, can hold up to 150 sheets of plain paper of 16 to 28 lbs. It also works with an automatic document feeder (ADF) that holds up to 50 sheets of plain paper. The supported media types include transparencies, envelopes, cards, and plain sheets.
The printer’s unique specifications vary according to the model of the printer in use as well as the complexity of the document. The print method it uses is the drop-on-demand thermal inkjet technology which economizes the resources in use. The print language is the PCL 3 GUI.
The copy feature uses the digital image processing component while the speed also varies as the model of the printer. For scanning, the printer can scan sides of the page at once, using the automatic duplexer function. This all-in-one printer also can send and receive fax messages. The faxing feature works by the walk-up monochrome and color fax both automatically and manual sending and receive.
It also includes the busy redial, no-answer redial and confirmation and activity reports features. The maximum faxing resolution is 205 x 200 dpi for the standard mode in color.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
