HP Photosmart C4383 is a model member of the HP Photosmart C4300 series, with a product number, CC281C. The printer is an all-in-one device that can print, scan and copy documents. It is compatible with both Windows Operating systems and Mac OS.. The compatible versions of Windows include Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. HP Photosmart C4383 cartridges
There are four cartridges in this printer, the black, cyan, magenta, and yellow cartridges. The replacement of these cartridges is available at the HP Store or any trusted retailer of HP products.

Printer features
1. The printer’s input tray has a capacity of 100 sheets of plain paper. The output tray, however, can only hold 50 layers of the same paper type
2. The media sizes supported by this printer includes the photo paper, transparent films, labels, envelopes, legal, index cards, etc.
3. The maximum printing resolution of the printer for black is 1200 x 1200 and 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi for colored. This function is possible with the use of HP PhotoREt III
4. The maximum print capacity of this device is 5000 pages per month. However, HP recommends 500 printed pages to keep the invention at its best performance.

[Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
