This device only weighs around 8 kg and has 17.29 x 46.25 x 38.73 cm for height x width x depth. For printing, the device uses the drop-on-demand technology with PCL3 GUI language. It can accept input from various sources. The users can use the USB port, memory cards, and even from the Bluetooth wireless printing technology.
This printer is also suitable for photo printing in high quality. Even the PictBridge camera is compatible with this device via USB port. This printer can handle up to 100 sheets of plain paper, 10 of envelopes, 20 of photo paper, cards, labels, and transparencies. For legal papers, the printer has a capacity of handling up to 100 sheets at once. But for the output capacity, the sheets that can be handled by the device is limited to 50 sheets of plain paper, 25 sheets of photo paper, 15 of transparencies, 10 of envelopes, and so on.
With the printing resolution support up to 1200 x 1200 black dpi, the device is capable of printing high-quality documents. For color printing, the resolution support is extended to 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi. It can print sheets with a speed of 32 pages per minute for black printouts. And as for the color printouts, the printer can print with a speed 31 ppm. For photo paper, the speed is relatively low, i.e., 14 seconds for just one 10 x 15 cm photo.
The device has a duty cycle of 3000 pages per month. Plus, it also has the mark of being an energy efficient device.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
