The HP PSC printer 1315 has a great body build to suit the office and home variety of uses. The height is 6.68 inch, a width of 16.76 inches, a depth of 10.2 inches and a weight of 10 lbs. The print cartridges include the following;

• HP 27 black inkjet print cartridge
• HP 28 tri-color inkjet print cartridge

However, there are some optional accessories which include HP 58 photo cartridge replaces the HP 56 black cartridge for photo printing. Others are HP 57 tri-color inkjet print cartridge and an HP 58 tri-color photo inkjet print cartridge.

This HP PSC 1315 driver supports Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows Vista and Windows XP. The recommended processors for Windows OS versions include an Intel Pentium III processor and a 256 MB of RAM. Before running the software, there is a need to have a free hard disk space of 1.1 GB plus an additional 50 MB for full-color scanning.
For Apple systems.

The supported Mac OS versions include OS 9.1.x, and OS X (10.1.x or higher). Others include OS 10 (10.2.x and 10.2.3 or higher), OS 10 (10.3.x or higher) and OS 10 (10.4.x or higher). For these versions, the recommended requirements include a G4 or higher processor. Another condition contains 156 MB (OS 9.1) or 256 MB (OS X) of RAM and 1024 x 768 display resolution.

Printing involves a drop-on-demand thermal inkjet technology that saves ink. The printing language is a Lightweight Imaging Device Interface Language (LIDIL). The print speed though varies by the model can be up to 17 pages per minute for black and 12 ppm for colored. The maximum print resolution can be up to 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi with a 1200 input dpi. This hp printer has a monthly duty cycle of 1000 printer pages at maximum.

[Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer

Windows

• Close all software programs running on your computer.
• Turn on the printer.
• Click the Download button on this page.
• Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
• Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.

Mac

• Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
• Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
• Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
• Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.

To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
