The duty cycle of the Samsung ProXpress SL-M4070 model printer is up to 100,000 pages in a month. But the manufacturer’s recommendation is between 1500 and 3500 pages to keep the printer in good shape and condition. It supports the Samsung Printer Language (SPL), PCL 5, PCL 6, PS 3, and PDF v1.7 print languages. There is also a liquid crystal display (LCD) screen on its control panel that shows the printer’s conditions.
The printer has an inbuilt processor that runs at a speed of 600 MHz that combines effect with the internal memory. The internal memory size is about 256 MB of RAM while the maximum is up to 512 MB. Whereas, it can also accommodate standard storage of 4 GB through an internal smart card. When the user runs out of resources in the cartridges, the replacement cartridge options vary according to their capacity.
A standard toner cartridge, with model number MLT-D2035, will print up to 3000 pages at full capacity. The high yield toner cartridge is capable of producing up to 5000 pages approximately at full size. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
