The digital copier has 10 preset copy ratios, 2 black & white gradation levels and 256 gradation levels for color printing. It has a minimum paper size of 8.5ʺ x 11ʺ and a resolution of 1200 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi). The copier has a speed of 46 pages per minute (ppm) for letter size paper, a first copy time of 3.7 seconds, and can make multiple copies of 999 copies. It has a magnification power of 25% to 400% in 1% increments and 25% to 200% with a duplex single document feeder.

The printer is secured with user authentication and other security protocols and complies with IEEE-2600 security standards. Some features include carbon copy print, bar code font printing, image stamp, and directing of common file types including encrypted PDF. True Adobe PostScript 3, standard PCL 6, and an optional XPS is the readily available PDL. Available connection interface is 10/100/100 Base-T RJ-45 Ethernet and a high-speed USB 2.0.

The network scanner can scan in monochrome, grayscale, and grayscale mode with a resolution of 600 dpi. The output modes include 600 dpi, 400 dpi, 300 dpi, 200 dpi, 150 dpi, and 100 dpi. The scanner can scan to 2000 one-touch destinations including e-mail, network folders, and FTP servers and can also scan to 500 grouped destinations. It allows up to 100 users account to control access with e-mail server user authentication for LDAP and active directory.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer

Windows

• Close all software programs running on your computer.
• Turn on the printer.
• Click the Download button on this page.
• Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
• Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.

Mac

• Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
• Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
• Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
• Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.

To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
