The Canon LASER SHOT LBP3500 printer model is a desktop monochrome laser device with an in-demand fixing system. It runs at a speed of 25 pages per minute (ppm) when printing on an A4 paper. But when an A3 essay is in use, the rate of printing is up to 15 ppm. Printing can also produce a quality of 2400 x 600 dots per inch (dpi) equivalent resolution. This resolution is attainable due to the Automatic Image Refinement (AIR).

The first printout time is less than 10 seconds with the Canon Advanced Printing Technology (CAPT). At the same time, the internal memory of the machine is about 8 MB, with no option of memory expansion. Also, the first input paper tray can hold up to 250 sheets of plain paper. Besides, there is a multipurpose tray that can contain up to 150 sheets of plain paper. Also, there is an optional paper cassette that can hold up to 50 sheets.
On the other hand, the output tray will accommodate up to 250 sheets of printed paper. Also, the machine has a duplex component through an optional DU-67 duplex unit. The leading printer consumable is the standard toner 309 cartridge, which can print up to 12000 sheets. Besides, the started round will produce up to 6000 pages. The machine supports the use of plain paper, transparencies, labels, index cards, and envelopes.
Conversely, the compatible paper sizes include A3, A4, B5, B4, A5, letter, legal, executive, envelope, and some custom sizes. Interface connections can be through the USB 2.0 hi-speed port with an optional network card. The machine is also compatible with Windows OS, Me, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, and 8. [Installation Instructions] How to Download / Installation procedure
Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
