The maximum print quality measurement is up to 600 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi) to produce a crisp and clear output. It also has a 4-ink component print technology, where each being capable of printing different colors. The ink type is the MAXIFY kind that is water-resistant for two different ink volumes of 5 and 11picolitres (pl). Apart from the standard cartridges, this machine can also use the XL ink tanks for higher productivity.
However, when copying with this device, monochrome documents run at 18 ipm through the ADF. But color documents copy at the rate of 10 ipm. The machine uses an Easy ID scan suitable for ID cards to print on one page. It also supports a 2.5-inch-widescreen display, coupled with some security settings that enable confidentiality and user restriction. This machine also has 250 pages of high capacity through the main paper tray.
The standard connectivity with this machine is through the hi-speed USB 2.0 port or Ethernet 10/100MPS that is auto-switchable. It can also use a USB flash memory port for an A-type and a secure wireless connection through Wi-Fi. Similarly, the machine supports Wireless LAN and an access point mode for workplace productivity for a shared printer. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
