HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless Printer Features
The printing method is the thermal inkjet print technology with the use of four different cartridges for black, cyan, magenta and yellow. Each of these colors has their specific printheads, and the replacement supplies are available at HP Stores worldwide or other trusted retailers.
The appropriate print language is the HP PCL 5e, PCL 6, and Postscript 3 emulation. The printer supports HP 80 fonts including 45 scalable correct type fonts, 35 build-in postscript language fonts, and others. The printer can produce up to 15000 printed pages in one month, but the manufacturer recommends a lesser amount.
The device has built into it, a 360 MHz ARM4 and ETM (16-bit) processors for excellent delivery. On the other hand, the printer memory is 256 MB built-in RAM and 16 MB built-in flash ROM. To manage the printer across the network, it possesses an embedded web server to configure the printer across the network.
The printer supports quite some media types such as the transparencies, plain paper, photo paper, labels, index cards, and envelopes. It also goes with different standard and custom sizes such as US Letter, legal, executive, statement, B5, A4, A5, A6, and others.
Each of the primary input tray and the tray2 which is the supplementary tray can hold up to 250 sheets of plain paper. The output tray, however, holds up to 150 sheets for all the supported media sizes. The printer does not use the automatic duplexer component.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
