Sharp MX-2640N model can print and copy at the optimum speed of 36 pages per minute (ppm) for both color and monochrome. Also, the resolution for the printing process is up to 1200 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi) at optimum performance. Whereas, the magnification level is between 25% and 400% of the original size of the document in the copy. The standard connectivity procedure in the Sharp MX-2640N model is through the USB 2.0 hi-speed port. But as a modern device, it also supports some other direct connection for print.
This printer machine can produce up to 10,000 pages of production in a month at optimum productivity. But when copying, the range of multiple copies it can provide cannot exceed 999 sheets. Also, the recommended network protocols allow for TCP/IP, which is the IPv4 protocol. With the paper capacity of the printer model, it cannot take more than a total of 1850 sheets of plain paper.

Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
