In extra, there is also a standard 100-sheet Reversing Single Pass Document (RSPF). This component scans up to 50 originals per minute that enhance optimum productivity. Sharp MX-3116N is a real multitasking device with a full-color document system.
It also has a touchscreen that is up to 7 inches in its diagonal size and displays color with graphical illustration. The compatible printing system supports PCL 6 with a postscript three compatibility and XPS option. Its resolution is about 600 x 600 dots per inch (dpi) for bright, crisp image printing service. Also, it has an advanced ImageSEND component that can scan documents to USB devices, network folders, email, and more. This feature can also scan documents up to 50 images per minute (ppm) for both monochrome and color.
Some extra features of convenience include document filing system with thumbnail view and image preview. It also has a tandem paper drawer with 2000-sheet capacity plus an additional 500 and online capacity of 2100 sheets. This machine also has a flexible paper handling system that can feed up to 80 lbs in weight of the paper load. There is also a Super G3 option of faxing with intelligence.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
