Multi-functionally is capable of newly designed smart monochrome digital copier for printing, copying, and color scanning. The automatic document feeder holds a minimum paper size of A5R sheets and a maximum paper size of A3 sheets. The standard paper capacity is 1100 sheets (two 500-sheet trays and 100-sheet multi-bypass tray) while the maximum paper capacity is 5,600 sheets. As a high-speed copier, it has a boot time (warm-up time) of 20 seconds and 80GB HDD storage. It is a desktop type digital printer with document filing capabilities.

The printer has a standard 1GB of RAM that extends to a maximum of 2GB of RAM enabling the printer to work with excellent skills. The connectivity options include an optional 10/100/1000 Base-T RJ-45 Ethernet and a standard USB 2.0 interface. The printer works at a speed of 45 pages per minute (ppm) with output resolution at 600 x 600 dpi or 1200 x 1200 dpi. Printing protocols for the optional network printer include POP3, LPR, Raw TCP, HTTP and more. The printer supports Mac OS and all Windows operating systems.
The copier of this document system has an original paper size of A3 and a continuous copy of 999 copies. As regards enlargement, the copier has a high quality maintaining magnifying power from 25% to 400% (25 to 200% using DSPF) in 1% increments. The scan resolutions include 600 x 600 dpi, 600 x 400 dpi, and 600 x 300 dpi. Some special features include auto tray switching, black & white reverse, multi-page enlargement, and 2-sided copy orientation change.
The network color scanner uses the Sharpdesk document management utility and internet fax plus PC-internet fax transmission. Scan methods used are push scan (via control panel) and pull scan (TWAIN-compliant application). The document filing capacity is 38GB for main and custom folders and 12GB for the quick file folder.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
