The copy resolution of the printer is an enhanced 1200 x 1200 dots per inch and a standard 600 x 600 dpi. The copy modes available are monochrome and grayscale. The standard paper capacity is 3000 sheets while the maximum paper capacity possible is 13500 sheets. As a large operation machine, it has 3.2 seconds copy out time for platen glass and 5.5 seconds for duple single pass feeder. The copy speed of this digital copier is 120 copies per minute for letter size sheets, and it can make 9999 multiple continuous copies.
Designed with this digital copier is a standard network printing expansion kit that uses a 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution. The printer also uses a print speed of 120 pages per minute for all letter size sheets. Eighty outline fonts for PCL 6 and 139 fonts for PS 3 make page insertion, chapter insertion, and barcode printing. The RJ-45 Ethernet adaptor makes shared workgroup usage possible through wireless access while the USB 2.0 port supports wire transfers. The network printer can be used with all Windows and selected Mac OS with installed IPv6 and NetWare protocols.
An optional network scanner installed into this machine makes color scanning possible. The scanner’s optical image resolution is 600 dpi with discrete output modes. Operating on the Sharpdesk document management utility software, the scanner can save in different formats and can deliver to over 1000 scan destinations. The large size hard drive allows for fast operation and easy document filing.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
