The copier’s maximum paper size is A3 while the minimum is A6 with a first copy out time of 7.2 seconds. The copier, suitable for small offices, makes printing fast with a maximum continuous copy of 999 copies. The printer can enlarge images from 25% to 400% without altering the quality. The ten preset copy ratios are used equally for enlargement and reductions.
This sharp series uses an optional network printer that has a 64MB memory expandable to 320MB of RAM. It is bundled with utility software like Sharp printer administration utility and Sharp status monitor. Windows and Mac operating systems work well with this printer through IPX, TCP, and EtherTalk network protocols. The printer supports user effective E-mail server user authentication for LDAP and active directory, name and password login and data encryption/data erasure.
The network scanner scans with 75, 100, 150, 200, 300,400, and 600 dpi resolutions. It supports Windows and Mac OS and uses the Sharpdesk documenting application. The Sharpdesk utility software provides integrated desktop management of documents in over 200 file formats. It allows users to organize, edit, search and distribute their documents, all with a simple drag-and-drop operation. The functionality of this new MFP can be extended further with the optional MX-FX10 Fax Expansion Kit. Combining 33,600 bps Super G3 speed with the ease of on-line transmission, the MX-FX10 boosts the efficiency of this MX-M200D.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
