It is designed for efficient service, and it stuns a single duplex pass feeder auto duplexing paper tray with 50-sheet paper capacity. The standard engine speed is 35 pages per minute for letter size sheets and reduces by an increase in sheet size. The 128MB of RAM is expandable to 384MB, and it uses a 40GB hard drive for heightened processing power.

The 64 RISC and 466MHz central processor helps minimize standby duration by giving it 80 seconds warm-up time. As regards printing speed and continuous copy, the first copy time of 4.9 seconds allows for 999 endless copies. The 25 to 400%magnification range allows for various high quality fixed magnifications. Unique transparency insertion, date stamping, document filing, and more essential features define this printer’s specialty.
As a U-version Sharp copier, it can be upgraded to the N-version to support the grayscale and color network printer. 1200, 600, and 300 dpi resolutions are the preset high-quality print resolutions of the network printer. The printer supports the rip once print many options and has a rear USB 2.0 connection port. It is preinstalled with standard 80 outline fonts for PCL 6 and free barcode fonts for barcode printing.
The network scanner expansion is optional, and it supports monochrome, gray-scale, and color scanning. It can deliver to 999 different destinations and can scan and save files into different formats including encrypted PDF. The installed Scan2TM technology helps increase productivity and preserves document integrity. Security protocols like SSL, E-mail server and user authentication helps protect the scanner network. The Sharp-desk document management software allows for quick scanning to network folders and even FTP servers.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer
Windows
- Close all software programs running on your computer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Click the Download button on this page.
- Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.
Mac
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
- Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
- Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
