This Sharp monochrome series has a standard engine speed of 35 ppm for letter size sheets. The standard paper capacity for the paper feeding tray is 1100 sheets while the maximum capacity is 2100 sheets. It uses a standard 2GB of RAM like most modern machines and an optional 250GB Hard Disk storage. It stuns a retractable keyboard for quick data input and a 7-inch color dot matrix, touch-screen navigation panel.

With its high speed, the copier completes its first-time copy in 4.3 seconds and makes up to 999 continuous copies. It is responsive and processes fast for usage within a 20 seconds warm-up time. The output copy resolution is a clear 600 x 600 dpi for both black & white and color printing operations. As a result of its preset copy ratios, the copier takes advantage of a 25% to 400% zooming power.

The optional standard network printing system allows for online printing and shared usage in large work-groups. As regard quality, the printer has an enhanced print resolution of 1200 x 600 dots per inch. It supports direct printing of files of specific formats and complies strictly with IEEE-2600. The connection interface includes a USB 2.0 port for high-speed transfers and an RJ-45 LAN adapter for wireless connection. It supports all Windows operating systems and some Mac OS, and it is preinstalled with their installation drivers.

The MX-356N is built with an advanced network scanner that allows for monochrome and high-quality color scanning. It scans with an optical 600dpi resolution and at a speed of 56 images per minute for letter size sheets. It comes preinstalled with document capabilities and user authentication system that allows for personal and protected documenting.

Note: Do not connect the USB cable until requested by the installer. If you connect to the network, make sure the network cable is connected before running the installer

Windows

• Close all software programs running on your computer.
• Turn on the printer.
• Click the Download button on this page.
• Click the downloaded file. The files will be extracted and the installation process will automatically begin.
• Follow the instructions on the screen to continue and complete the installation.

Mac

• Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
• Double-click the downloaded file and mount it on the Disk Image.
• Then Double-click the mounted Disk Image.
• Double-click the packaged file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.

To install later, select Save in step 4 and choose a location on your hard disk. When ready to install, search and double-click the file. This will automatically extract and start the installation process. Follow the instructions on the screen to continue the installation.
